Recruitment is Ireland’s Recruitment Newspaper. An island wide specialist publication designed to carry employment
opportunity details in an attractively designed package. It offers recruitment advertising to employers at an unparalleled price.
Exhibitions
The publication is a regular exhibitor at recruitment fairs throughout Ireland, these include fairs for the public
sector, health sector, professional and technical, graduate placement and exhibitions aimed at the general employment sector.
Participation in various promotional activities and events has helped RECRUITMENT become the number one medium for
sourcing the right person for the job.
Production Values & Distribution
RECRUITMENT is a tabloid newspaper printed on 50 gsm newsprint. The pagination is
flexible, offering the option of mono or full colour advertising. Display advertising is based on either 2 to 6 column widths. Each
week we carry several pages of editorial and current news of interest both to employers and jobseekers. Distribution includes
all major news agencies in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The cover price is 50p in the North and a Euro in the
South.
Promotion
RECRUITMENT has constantly advertised on both UTV and RTE, during it’s years of publication.
Radio advertising on Downtown Radio, Q102, Cool FM and Belfast CityBeat have also figured prominently.
Point of Sale Campaigns are carried out continuously.
Pricing & Deadlines
The cost for advertising is £9 per column centimeter. The minimum order is 5 X 2. Last copy can be
received no later than 5pm every Friday. Full layout support is available. Alternatively, finished artwork should be supplied as
a bromide or as a Quark file with accompanying hard copy for proofing purposes; please refer to attached sheet for full

Fair Employment
Northern Ireland: Hitherto, in order to demonstrate fairness in recruitment advertising, employers have
had to advertise to all sections of the community, meaning the multiple placing of advertisements in a variety of newspapers.
In keeping with Fair Employment and Equal Opportunity practice, RECRUITMENT is aimed at all sections of the community.

Display Advertising
Display Advertising is sold by column centimeter.
Pages are 6 columns wide x 39 mm with 6 mm gutters (making full page width 265mm)
For ease of layout all display advertising is sold as either double column width 84 mm
or full page width 265 mm. |

Ads should preferably be supplied in QuarkXpress with any placed artwork (eps, tiffs, etc.) supplied separately
with all components therein converted to process colour.
All fonts used (both screen and printer) and a hard copy must be supplied.
Due to the WAM!NET ADS Validation process which we currently employ in finishing all our publications, we can
not accept Type 3 fonts and Adobe Illustrator artwork should not include document thumbnails.
The above is preferable, however we can accept other formats: Mac-based ‘complete documents’ eps’s can be
accepted as long as their components are process colour, all fonts included, and of good resolution.
Resolution (at least): 200 dpi. Linescreen: 100 lpi.
Some PC artwork can be accepted however if supplying from PC, ring first for assistance.
Artwork as above compressed, ie. DiskDoubler, Stuffit, etc can also be accepted.
We offer a scanning service for both photographs and transparencies.
We currently accept Floppy, CD, Zip, or Optical disks.
